Amarchand Jones Day advise in 300-crore Gammon India QIP

The Mumbai offices of Amarchand Mangaldas, led by Capital Markets Partner Yash Ashar, have acted as domestic legal counsel for the Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) of Indian’s largest civil engineering company, Gammon India. Gammon has raised Rs. 305 crores ($65 million) through the placement. The company’s Board of Directors includes Atul Dayal, the Name Partner of Atul Dayal & Co., formerly a Partner with Kanga & Co. Incidentally, he is one of the standing counsels for Reliance Industries.
