Upon his return, he has sought a refund of the security deposit, for which a court order is required..An oral mentioning for the same was made today. Justice Khanna inquired what the urgency in the matter was..The Court was then told that Karti had taken a loan to make the necessary security deposit before the Court and is now required to pay interest on the same. On this account, the matter becomes one of an urgent nature..The Court, however, declined to entertain the matter and directed the Counsel to mention it later, before the Bench of CJI Gogoi..Part of his tough stance on hearing mentioning of matters, CJI Gogoi had earlier refused to hear urgently a prayer by Karti Chidambaram to list a plea seeking permission to travel abroad..When the matter was mentioned, Gogoi J immediately responded,.“Karti Chidambaram going abroad is not a matter to be heard tomorrow.
