Justice KS Radhakrishnan retired as Supreme Court judge on May 14, 2014. Well known as the judge who presided the hearing in the Sebi Sahara dispute, Justice Radhakrishnan authored several landmark judgments including the judgments on transgenders’ rights and animal rights which attracted wide attention. Solicitor General Mohan Parasaran referred to J. Radhakrishnan as a judge who was instrumental in shaping modern jurisprudence arising from the Supreme Court.
