The second episode of Season 2 of Soulful Conversations with Bithika Anand features Deepak Acharya, the Group General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer of the Aditya Birla Group (ABG). Deepak Acharya’s illustrious career is as captivating as it is inspiring.

With a team of over 400 lawyers in the Group, Acharya is responsible for providing integrated business solutions, keeping in view the applicable legal environment. As a part of the global conglomerate, his team has acquired the competence to provide legal assistance and counsel in different jurisdictions around the world. His team also plays a significant role in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures (both domestic and cross-border), and corporate restructuring.

In his conversation with Bithika Anand, he speaks about integrity, how trust is earned over a period of time and the importance of sharing timely advice with clients as some of the key values he stands by.

Acharya is a Law graduate from the Government Law College-Mumbai and is a Fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and an Associate Member of the All-India Management Association. He Chairs CII’s sub-committee on Business and Corporate Laws.
