Justice Indira Banerjee of Delhi High Court is likely to be appointed as Chief Justice of Madras High Court.
According to highly placed sources, Justice Banerjee has given her consent for the same and the Collegium is likely to make the recommendation soon.
Indira Banerjee J. enrolled at the Bar in 1985 and started her practice in Calcutta High Court. She was appointed judge of Calcutta High Court in 2002 and was transferred to Delhi High Court in August 2016.This content is restricted to subscribers
