Gujarat lawyers criticize collegium system of appointment Say collegium has overlooked seniority and legal competence of Gujarat Chief Justice

The Gujarat High Court Advocates Association has openly criticized the Supreme Court collegium for overlooking the “seniority” and “legal competence” of the current Chief Justice of the Gujarat High Court, Justice Bhaskar Bhattacharya. The Association has passed a resolution to this effect and the sent the same to the President of India.
