Ex-Supreme Court judge SJ Mukhopadhaya appointed NCLAT Chairperson

A former judge of the Supreme Court of India,  Justice SJ Mukhopadhya has been appointed the Chairperson of National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT). Justice Mukhopadhaya had retired as Supreme Court judge on March 14 last year; at his farewell ceremony AG Mukul Rohatgi suggested that the judge join a “tribunal or do arbitration”.
