Former JSA lawyer Abhijit Narayan joins Hengeler as Foreign Associate

Former J. Sagar Associates lawyer, Abhijit Narayan has recently joined German law firm, Hengeler Mueller as a foreign associate. He joined the firm on October 1, 2012 and is part of the India Desk. He completed his LLM in Corporate Law from NYU School of Law in 2008 and thereafter moved back to India and joined JSA where he worked for about four years before moving to Hengeler..Speaking to Bar & Bench about his decision to join the German law firm, Abhijit said, “In view of the interest amongst the Indian companies in investing in Europe and the interest amongst European companies to invest in India, I thought it was a good idea to work with a large European law firm. Also, we do not practice Indian law while advising clients”..He further said, “Hengeler Mueller can advise Indian companies which want to invest in Germany and German companies to invest in India.
