Forcible sex - unnatural or natural, is an illegal intrusion into privacy of wife: Allahabad HCMay 25 2019
The Allahabad High Court recently reiterated that forced unnatural sex would amount to marital cruelty and would, therefore, be a ground for divorce under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1956.
Notably, the Bench of Justices Pradeep Kumar Srivastava and Shashi Kant Gupta also condemned forcible sex, unnatural or natural, as an illegal intrusion that amounts to cruelty against the wife. As stated in their judgment,
"Unnatural sex, sodomy . . .
