I look forward to developing the transactional practice for the firm apart from financial sector practice which we are already doing”..Indrajit will focus on transactional work in private equity and M&A segment as well as general corporate advisory work. Indrajit graduated from New Law College, Mumbai in 2005 and joined as a Company Secretary with a listed company. Thereafter, he worked with Thakker & Thakker for three years..Finsec Law Advisors was established in July 2010 as a financial sector boutique law firm by Sandeep Parekh, former head of legal affairs and enforcement departments of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI)..Speaking to Bar & Bench, Founding Partner Sandeep Parekh said, “We as a financial sector firm were more into advisory work and we are now delighted to move into the second vertical of transactional practice. With Indrajit’s joining we would be entering into this vertical with private equity takeovers and other areas including foreign direct investment.
