Gautham Srinivas to join Khaitan from Krishnamurthy & Co

Krishnamurthy & Co Partner Gautham Srinivas has left the firm to join the

Capital Markets team at Khaitan & Co.

Khaitan HR Director Amar Sinhji confirmed the appointment. He said,

“Gautham’s joining will give our Capital Markets practice a national footprint with partners in Mumbai, Bangalore & Delhi. Capital Markets, along with Competition, Real Estate, IP & Tax are focus areas of growth for the firm at this stage. We will continue to scout for talent but be selective in terms of culture fit.”

A graduate of National Law School of India University, Bangalore, Gautham started his career with Amarchand Mangaldas in 2004. He worked there for over 8 years, after which he moved to Link Legal in 2013 to be part of the firm’s Capital Market practice. Then, in 2015, Gautham left Link Legal to join Krishnamurthy & Co as a Partner.

Earlier Ajay Sawhney had exited from K Law in May this year. He later joined Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.
