Environmental Clearance not retrospective, SC hauls up Sarda Mines for illegal mining activity in OdishaNovember 12 2018
The Supreme Court today reiterated that an Environmental Clearance cannot be given retrospective effect, while fixing responsibility on Sarda Mines Private Limited (SMPL) for carrying out illegal mining activities in excess of the terms of its mining lease.
