The newly promoted partners are Aslam Ahmed, Madhavan Srivatsan, Rachna Jain, Raghav Mathur and Joebin Devassy..Aslam joined the firm in 2003 and heads the firm’s litigation practice in New Delhi while the other four newly promoted partners are part of the firm’s corporate practice group and are based in Gurgaon..Madhavan, Rachna and Joebin are graduates of Campus Law Center, Delhi University. Madhavan has been with Desai Diwanji since the inception of the New Delhi office in 2003. Prior to that he was working as an in-house counsel with NGP Industries. Madhavan handles private equity and M&A deals along with renewable energy work..Rachna too joined Desai Diwanji in 2003 and specializes in M&A, co-investments, private equity, joint ventures and fund formations..Joebin primarily focuses on private equity and M&A deals with specific focus on cross border transactions. Joebin joined Desai Diwanji two years back in December 2010 from Pricewaterhouse Cooper, where he was working as a Manager focusing on regulatory and transaction structuring and advisory matters..Raghav was working with an Irish law firm Arthur Cox in Dublin before joining Desai Diwanji in 2009. Raghav has also worked at Dua Associates for three years before moving to Dublin.
