The Delhi High Court today refused to entertain a plea seeking a direction to the Election Commission to bar Mehbooba Mufti, Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah from contesting elections on account of making seditious and communal statements.
The petition was withdrawn after Division Bench of Justices S Ravindra Bhat and Prateek Jalan asked the Petitioner to approach the Election Commission instead.
