Delhi HC dismisses plea seeking regulation of content on online streaming platforms

The Delhi High Court today dismissed a petition seeking formulation of guidelines for regulation of content on online streaming platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime etc.

The order was passed by a two-Judge Bench of the High Court comprising Chief Justice Rajendra Menon and Justice V Kameswar Rao, after it was informed by Central Government that the online platforms were neither required to obtain a license from the Ministry of Information . . .
