The Bangalore office presently has three qualified lawyers with plans to expand its operational strength by taking this number up to six within the first year of operation..Srinivas Kotni had set up Corporate LEXport in 2000, a firm whose core areas are corporate and commercial laws, corporate indirect taxation and intellectual property laws. The Delhi office has a team of 12 lawyers..Kotni is a graduate of Delhi University. He is also a Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He has been handling a variety of legal, corporate and taxation issues for both domestic and international clients for nearly two decades now. Prior to setting up the firm, Kotni was working with Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan. He worked with them for more than 5 years before setting up his own firm in 2000..Talking about the decision to set up the Bangalore office, Kotni said, “We do lot of work in Bangalore and have some regular clients in Bangalore, so we wanted to have a presence there. This office is the first step towards our national progression with Bangalore becoming the second city to have an office”..Kotni also told Bar & Bench that the firm is also in the process of restructuring and converting from sole proprietorship to a partnership firm. “This process should be completed in a couple of weeks”, said Kotni
