Darvesh Yadav murder: Supreme Court refuses plea for CBI inquiryJune 25 2019
The Supreme Court has refused to entertain the petition seeking a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry into the murder of advocate and former UP Bar Council Chairperson, Darvesh Yadav.
The Vacation Bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and BR Gavai observed that the petition sought prayers very specific to the incident. Thus, the petitioner - Advocate Indu Kaul - ought to approach the appropriate jurisdictional High Court.
