Citi India today appointed dual-qualified Sandip Beri and former Clifford Chance senior associate, Munish Nagpal as Legal Heads of Citi India and Citigroup Global Markets respectively..Citi India today appointed dual-qualified Sandip Beri and former Clifford Chance senior associate, Munish Nagpal as Legal Heads of Citi India and Citigroup Global Markets respectively..Sandip Beri, who is qualified to practice both in India and the US, brings with him over 25 years of experience. He was appointed as General Counsel, South Asia, and Head of the Corporate Secretarial and Government Relations at GE Capital after his stint at Genpact as an Assistant General Counsel. The graduate of Faculty of Law, Delhi University, Beri worked as an associate at the Chicago offices of US-based Sidley & Austin, after pursuing his masters at the School Of Law, University Of Wisconsin..Munish Nagpal, a double LL.M graduate from the University of Cambridge, UK and Harvard Law School, was previously a Senior Associate with Clifford Chance’s Singapore office. He worked on their India practice Group. He started his career with Amarchand Mangaldas before moving on to Fried Frank’s London and New York offices. Before his stint in Clifford Chance, he worked with Skadden Arps in Singapore. Munish is also qualified in England & Wales, New York and India.
