Collegium recommends transfer of four judges to Parent High Courts [Read Resolutions]October 31 2018
The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the transfer of four judges to their parent High Courts of Punjab and Haryana, Karnataka, Orissa and Jharkhand .
By four resolutions dated October 29, the Collegium has recommended the repatriation of the following judges.
Justice Nirmaljit Kaur, who has been serving in the Rajasthan High Court since July 2012, has been recommended for transfer to her parent High Court of Punjab and Haryana.
Justice Pavankumar B Bajanthri, who had been transferred to the Punjab and Haryana High Court in March 2015, has been recommended for transfer to his parent High Court of Karnataka.
Justice Satrughana Pujahari, who was appointed a Judge of the Madras High Court in November 2017, has been recommended to be repatriated to the Orissa High Court.
Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad, who has been serving in the Orissa High Court since March 2015, has been recommended for transfer to his parent High Court of Jharkhand.
The Collegium has recorded that all for transfers were recommended in the interest of administration of justice.
