CNLU Strike VC Lakshminath - Students should understand that this is legal profession and corporations and banks do not recruit law students as much as management studentsApril 20 2011
Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) students are protesting against poor placements offered by the law school. Around 50 students blocked the main gate of the university and held the Vice-Chancellor hostage for not taking any initiatives to ensure job placements.
The Telegraph reports that the situation could be brought under control only after Vice Chancellor, A. Lakshminath called the police. The Vice Chancellor later promised to take steps towards ensuring placements to the students.
