CLAT counselling indefinitely delayed; Rajneesh Singh points out 8 errors in answer key

The CLAT controversies for the year are far from over. In yet another setback to CLAT aspirants, the publication of the first allotment list has been delayed indefinitely. According to a notification on the CLAT website, the delay is a result of complaints about errors in the answer key..Last week, the Allahabad High Court had directed the exam convenor, RMLNLU to publish the results of CLAT 2015. Pursuant to the order, the question paper, along with the answer key, was published on the CLAT website..However, there appear to be a number of errors in the answer key. Speaking to Bar & Bench, CLAT guru Rajneesh Singh pointed out discrepancies in the following questions:.Q. 2Q. 25Q. 56Q. 169Q. 182Q. 184Q. 185Q. 186Q. 187.Another problem with the answer key is that only one set of question and answers have been released; it is of little use to students who answered the questions in a different order..What makes things even more uncertain from the point of view of the students is the fact that the earlier CLAT FAQ specifically mentioned the fact that the question paper would be mailed to the students as soon as the exam was over..(See picture below shared by a student).However, the current FAQ does not contain this question and answer at all. A search for earlier versions of the FAQ page reveals that this particular question 13 was removed before March 15 this year..Today’s CLAT notification also stated that an expert committee would look into the matter, but did not provide any actual date by when the first allotment list would be published.
