Clasis Law adds to Infra & Energy Practice with Dhir & Dhir Partner, Jatinder Cheema

Dhir & Dhir Associates’ Infrastructure and Energy Partner Jatinder Cheema has joined Clasis Law to head the firm’s Infrastructure and Energy Practice. The Infrastructure and Energy team has 5 lawyers including Jatinder..Speaking to Bar & Bench, about his decision to move to Clasis Jatinder said that, “The move is essentially for growing the energy and infrastructure practice both nationally and internationally. The energy sector is bound to grow in times to come. There is increasing demand both on the government side and private side seeking energy assets both in Indian and overseas in terms of natural resources. So this gives me a platform to expand my practice”..Jatinder further said, “A part of my reach from the beginning has been going and working for clients in overseas jurisdiction. I have also done government advisory for the the Canadian government and one of the Middle East countries, which has been my forte and I plan to further expand my international energy practice.”.Jatinder is a graduate of Punjab University and initially started his career with Senior Advocate Ram Jethmalani. He worked with him for over a year after which he did his masters in Investment Law from University of Ottawa. Thereafter, he did a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Toronto in Canada to qualify as a Canadian lawyer.
