Rajan Jayakar is a renaissance man. The 68-year old solicitor, who hails from a family of lawyers, is an ardent art collector and has travelled the world in pursuit of his passion for art and history. He says that he has been a collector since childhood, and it was his own community's history which led him to focus on Mumbai.
