Bombay HC invites stakeholder views on 57 applications seeking Senior Advocate designation [Read Notification]

The Bombay High Court has invited suggestions and views from the Bar and other stakeholders on the applications it has received seeking the conferment of Senior Advocate designation. .A notification dated November 30, 2018 issued under the Bombay High Court (Destination of Senior Advocates) Rules, 2018 had yield 57 applications and written proposals seeking designation as Senior Advocate. .The latest notification has invited stakeholder to send in their written views on the same by February 28, 2019. The names of the 57 candidates seeking Senior Advocate designation are also listed in the notification..The notification states:.“The written suggestions/views of the members of the Bar and other stakeholders as per Rule 5 (j) of Bombay High Court (Designation of Senior Advocates) Rules, 2018 are invited o the applications and written proposals for designation of Senior Advocates. The written suggestions/views should reach this Office on or before 28th February 2019..The suggestions/views shall be in writing, shall bear the name and full address of the sender and shall be addressed to the Permanent Secretariat of the High Court. Anonymous petitions/representations/views will not be entertained. .The Suggestions/views shall be submitted only in physical form in writing and submission of such views/suggestions by any other mode shall not be entertained. The suggestions/ views shall be submitted only in the office of the Registrar General, 4th Floor, AnnexBuilding, High Court, Bombay on all working days between 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Suggestions/views submitted beyond the said stipulated date and time shall not be entertained.“.Read the Notification:
