Bombay HC okays Amarchand-advised RIL-RPL merger

The High Courts of Bombay and Gujarat have approved the merger of Reliance Petroleum (RPL) with parent company Reliance Industries (RIL). The High Court orders have been filed with the respective offices of the Registrar of Companies (RoC), and the timeline for de-listing of RPL shares and proportionate allotment of RIL shares will be fixed once the RoC approval has been obtained.
