The Supreme Court on Friday dismissed the review petition filed against its judgment in the case relating to the arrest of activists in the Bhima Koregaon case..The Bench of Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi, Justice AM Khanwilkar and Justice DY Chandrachud held that no case for review of the Court’s judgment of September 28 is made out. The order reads,.“We have perused the Review Petition as well as the grounds in support thereof. In our opinion, no case for review of judgment dated 28th September, 2018 is made out. The review petition is accordingly dismissed.”.The petition was filed seeking a review of the judgment delivered in September which had rejected the prayer for the constitution of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the allegations against five activists. The activists had been arrested by the Pune Police in a nationwide crackdown in September this year..
