RecTracker: NLU Delhi 2019 batch secures 100% placements

The 2019 graduating batch of National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) has secured employment for all students who took part in the recruitment process.

All 41 students who sat for placements secured jobs at Indian and International law firms, as well as corporates. The batch strength was 78.

20 students secured jobs at Indian law firms. The top hirers were Trilegal with 5 hires, followed by Khaitan & Co with 4, and S&R Associates with 3. Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, AZB & Partners, and L&L Partners made 2 hires each, while Talwar Thakore & Associates and P&A Law Offices hired one student each.

Four NLU Delhi students also secured training contracts at International law firms Herbert Smith Freehills and Linklaters.

Among the corporate houses hiring from the 2019 batch were ICICI Bank and OYO. 4 students also secured jobs at Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL).

A few students secured admission to LL.M. programmes at the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge and the School of Oriental and African Studies. Students have also secured prestigious fellowships such as the LAMP Fellowship and the Arthur C Helton Fellowship granted by the American Society of International Law.

The Recruitment Coordination Committee of the 2019 NLU Delhi batch comprised Shivpriya Gurtoo, Kritika Vidyarthi, Rahul Srivastava, Deepali Verma, Prashanth KP and Rohan Bhatia.
