The graduating batch of the National Law University Odisha (NLUO) has secured a total of 39 job offers from law firms, corporates, think tanks and litigation chambers..Trilegal and IndusLaw hired the maximum number of students with 5 hires each, followed by Saraf and Partners with 4 students. Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and Tatva Legal hired 3 students each..As for other law-firm hires, 1 student each was recruited by AZB & Partners, Nishith Desai & Associates, Khaitan & Co, Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, Dentons Link Legal, S&A Law Offices, C&S Partners, Sarvada Legal, TS Suresh & Associates, Keystone Partners and Wadhwa Law Chambers.Students were also recruited as in-house counsel, in litigation chambers, think tanks and a Legal Coaching Institute. One student secured a judicial clerkship with Justice Naveen Chawla of the Delhi High Court..75 students participated in the recruitment drive this year. Apart from the 39 students who secured job offers, 10 students were offered long-term assessment and internship opportunities with the support of the Recruitment Coordination Committee (RCC) at NLUO.These assessment and internship opportunities were offered by S&R Associates, Nishith Desai Associates, DMD Advocates, Spice Route Legal, link Legal, Crawford Bayley & Co Advocates and Solicitors and OYO.Additionally, 1 student got selected for the Teach for India Fellowship.
