National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL) Ranchi has placed 27 students of its 2017 batch.
Out of a batch of 94 students, 40 sat for placements. A total of 29 offers were made, out of which 27 were accepted. 2 students also obtained fellowships (LAMP and Teach for India).
8 students landed jobs at law firms like Khaitan & Co and Luthra & Luthra. Companies like Wipro and L&T Finance also hired from NUSRL. 5 students took up jobs at All India Reporter and 4 at Eastern Book Company.
According to the release of the Recruitment Co-ordination Committee (RCC) of NUSRL, the average salary was Rs. 5 lakh a year. The highest salary of Rs. 10 lakh p.a. went to the two students who got offers from Wipro. It is also mentioned that Khaitan has not disclosed its salary package to its two new NUSRL recruits.

*Fellowship is an internship programme for six months after which the candidate shall be considered for job.
The RCC consisted of Vikas Pandey (Convenor), Shivali, Nilotpal Shyam, Hemant Jain, Abhishek Kumar, Sneh Lata and Rimjhim Jamuar. The faculty advisors were Mr. SK Sinha (Placement Officer), Dr. MRS Murthy (Chairman, RCC) and Mr. Subir Kumar (Co-Chairman).
