Online Internship at Child Rights Clinic, Jindal Global Law School

Child Rights Clinic, Jindal Global Law School (JGLS), is providing online internships to students from Recognized Law Institutions and Universities for the months of June and July 2022.

The Child Rights Clinic (CRC) is an advocacy and policy initiative at Jindal Global Law School. The CRC’s core aim is to engage with the community, activists and stakeholders working in the realm of children’s rights both nationally and internationally to promote rights of all children using a trauma informed and child rights approach.

This internship aims to familiarize law students with the theory and practice of child rights in India. The students will be working on one of three projects the CRC is currently undertaking. The scope of work will be mostly research based with some drafting. Interns at CRC will make an important contribution to the Indian child rights landscape by participating in meaningful projects.

Eligibility

Internship is open to students from Recognized Law Institutions and Universities.

Students pursuing following courses can apply:
· Bachelor’s degree in Law ( 3 year course after graduation), or
· Integrated five year course in Law.
· LLM Students

Duration and Mode of Internship

The Internship shall be for a minimum period of 30 days and the mode of internship is virtual.

One can apply for the internship either for the month of June or July.

Certificates will be awarded to the interns on successful completion of their internship and on fulfilling all the mandatory requirements to the complete satisfaction of the CRC.

Deadlines for Applications

20 May for internship in the month of June.

27 May for internship in the month of July.
