The Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad was created under the Maharashtra National Law University Act 2014, on the 16th of March, 2017 and is one of the premier National Law Universities in India. The university is dedicated to the development and advancement of legal education and the purpose of imparting specialized and systematic instruction, training and research in the systems of law.

About the Programme

The seven-day online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) in multidisciplinary approaches to legal epistemology, organized by the Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad is intended to boost the teaching-learning and research skills of early career researchers and academicians, who are actively engaged with the legal techniques and within the multidisciplinary arena. The aim of the FDP is to present the participants with a chance to amass knowledge about contemporary developments that are happening in various specialized fields of law and social sciences.

The FDP aims to deepen our understanding of recent teaching tools and methodologies that are deployed by scholars within the field of legal and social science discipline. More importantly, this interactive and inclusive programme will shed light on new, tried and tested, result-driven and impact-based methods of teaching. The FDP will reflect on the basics of legal epistemology and its various specialized areas by leading global experts within their field.

The goal of this FDP is to promote cutting-edge research in the multidisciplinary arena of law but also to motivate young and passionate academicians to utilize it appropriately. The FDP will present an opportunity for the academicians to develop their teaching-learning so as to train the next generation of scholars who are well versed with the fundamental methodologies within the fundamentals of legal studies and who are willing to contribute to the development of legal studies globally.

Who may attend?

This programme is designed for faculty members, professionals and research scholars associated with universities, colleges and other institutions. The programme would give the participants an edge to perform more effectively in a technologically based academic environment.

Eligibility for e-certification

For being eligible for the e-certificate, participation in all sessions is mandatory for all the registered participants. All the registered participants are also required to fill up the feedback form, the link to the feedback form shall be shared towards the end of each session. Random quizzes will be sent by the organizing committee, which are mandatory to be solved by the participants.

Mode

The programme will be conducted on the online platform of CISCO Webex between 10:00 am to 12:15 pm & 03:00 pm to 5:15 pm.

Session links will be sent on the registered email IDs and WhatsApp groups to all the registered participants. Participants are required to log in 15 minutes in advance to avoid any inconvenience. Kindly ensure that your internet connection is proper to avoid any hassle to the resource persons.
