NUSRL Ranchi qualifies for World Rounds of 13th Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot

The team of Sankalp Udgata, Rishi Raj Mukherjee, Hetal Doshi, Ayush Chaturvedi and Tanay Chaturvedi from the National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi has qualified for the World Rounds of 13th Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court Competition 2021.

The Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court is the oldest and most prestigious student competition in the area of investment protection law. It is co-organised by the Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP.

This years’ moot case-study combines the law of investment protection, one of the most modern and fastest developing areas of international law, with the history of international law and of international trade.

In the National Rounds, co-organized by the Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration and NILS on 20^th February 2021, the team was amongst three teams to qualify from India for the 2021 edition of the Moot.

They will be accompanied by the six Indian qualifying teams of last year at the World Rounds.
