The eighth Convocation of National Law University, Jodhpur was held on January 18, 2015. Degrees were conferred to the 2014 Batch of Undergraduate and LLM Students, MBA Insurance, MS Insurance and PhD Holders..The Chief Guests of the Convocation were Chief Justice of India Justice H.L. Dattu and Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court & Chancellor of NLU, Jodhpur Justice Sunil Ambawani..Justice Dattu spoke about the importance of the legal profession and about the role of lawyers in developing societies. He also said that for one’s success, one has to be a good human being and needs to keep in mind the 3H (Honesty, Humility and Hardwork)..For the undergraduate course, Varun Natarajan picked up three gold medals for highest CGPA in all streams of LLB. Aayush Kumar was awarded a gold medal for best all-round student and Prateeti Goyal was declared best lady student of the undergraduate course..In the LLM course, Amoolya Jain secure two gold medals for highest CGPA in the IPR LLM and highest CGPA amongst the lady students of all the streams of 1 Year LLM Courses.
