The National Law Institute University, Bhopal (NLIU) has recently called for applications for a total of 15 teaching positions including one for a Professor of Energy Law..The advertisments for the fifteen positions, says NLIU’s Director Dr. SS Singh, have partly been necessitated by the fact that the institute had increased its intake to 120 students per batch this year, up from 80 in 2012. With respect to the position of a Professor of Energy Law, Dr. Singh says that this post has been established with the financial assistance of the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy..Into his second term at the institute, Dr. Singh, (whose interview with Bar & Bench was published earlier this year) says that he also plans to complete construction of the girl’s hostel that had been held up due to the recently concluded State elections..More details about the call for applications can be found here.
