MNLU Nagpur makes it to top 10 of Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot

A team from Maharashtra National Law University (NMLU) Nagpur was the only Indian team that made it to the top 10 of the recently held Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot Court Competition at the United Nations.

The team from MNLU Nagpur comprised Ayush Anand and Alen Thomas from the Class of 2027.

The other Indian teams qualifying for the advanced global rounds of the competition were Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow (RMLNLU) and National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi (NUALS).

The moot court competition was organised between July 15 and 17 by the Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretorisa in association with the United Nations and The Commonwealth Secretariat, with the support of the European Union & The South African and Switzerland UN missions in Geneva.
