Over the last two years, we have built a network of Campus Ambassadors across more than fifty law schools all over India. These law students have been providing us with information on campus events and activities, and also sharing legal articles.

This series of interviews is meant to turn the spotlight on these hardworking and dedicated individuals.

In this edition, we speak with Naga Sai Srikar, a fourth-year student at Christ (deemed to be) University's School of Law.

Why did you choose to study law?

I was always interested in politics and read about multiple successful politicians to have pursued law. Besides the fact that law could be a short-cut to politics, I realized law was a great course that could nudge me to break my introversive personality and hence, I pursued law.

What made you apply for the Campus Ambassador post at Bar & Bench?

In all my previous organization roles, the scope of my interaction was mostly limited to the students of my University. Thereafter, I stumbled upon the opportunity with Bar and Bench, wherein I could both interact and represent my University and at the same time network with my peers from across institutions in India.

Hence, I applied to become a Campus Ambassador.

What are your plans after completing law?

I plan to work with litigating law firms after completing my law degree and thereafter, I wish to pursue my interest in politics.
