The theme for the competition is “Arbitral Awards”..Sub-Themes:.-Presence of Bribery, Corruption and Money – laundering in International Arbitration Awards.-Recognition and Enforcement of Arbitral Awards.-Witness-Conferencing and Party Autonomy.-Grounds of challenging Arbitral Awards.-Factual Evidence of Pecuniary and Non-Pecuniary Remedies in Arbitral Awards.-Arbitral Awards: Finality and grounds for setting aside.-Can the doctrine of forum non conveniens be used/ applied to block enforcement of an International Arbitration Award.The word limit for the essay is 3000 words. Submit soft copies along with the abstract (200 words) to essay2014@kcia.in by October 25, 2014. The last date of submission of hard copies of registration form and essay is October 28, 2014.
