The IP Law Post Blog, a student-driven initiative at Hidayatullah National Law University welcomes submissions in the form of articles, short notes, opinions and case comments from law students and legal practitioners.
The blog submissions must explore the nuances, challenges and implications within the realm of IPR and foster dialogue on the contemporary, as well as important, domestic and international developments in the field.
Submissions made to the Blog must reflect original, unpublished work and be clear, concise, coherent and analytical. They should have informative titles and provide relevant background information wherever necessary to make it accessible to readers. Posts will be screened for plagiarism. Co-authorship is permitted for up to a maximum of two authors.
Submissions should be between 800-1500 (eight hundred to fifteen hundred) words in length. Authors should stick to the English language and wherever statements have been made in other languages, an adequate translation should be provided.
References must be in the form of hyperlinks to relevant legal sources and background information, including any judgments, legislations, treaties or other legal texts which are mentioned. Hyperlinks must link only to legal or reputed news sources. Endnotes will be accepted if the said reference cannot be accommodated through hyperlinks, and must be formatted in accordance with Bluebook 21 st edition guidelines. We do not accept footnotes.
The content must be written in Times New Roman in font size 12 (twelve) for the main body and font size 10 (ten) for the endnotes, with a line spacing of 1.5 (one point five).
Submissions on issues that have been previously covered in the Blog will not be accepted unless they bring forth fresh perspectives, arguments, or opinions contrary to or in furtherance of previously published content.

Please email your submission to us at iplawpost[at]gmail.com, with “Submission for IPLP” in the subject line, and author details in the body of the email. The draft post must be attached in MS word (.doc/.docx) format only.
The review policy includes double-blind peer review, which we undertake to complete within 10 (ten) days of submission. Please note that suggestions from the Editors must be incorporated by the contributors within 7 (seven) days of notification.
The IP Law Post is aimed at facilitating dialogue on domestic and global Intellectual Property Rights (“IPR”) developments. It is an endeavour to create an inclusive and open space that bridges the gap between students, researchers, academicians, and professionals and brings together everyone with a keen interest in Intellectual Property Law.
In submitting a post to us, the author(s) undertake(s) that it is their original work. The copyright of the posts published on our Blog shall continue to vest with the author. However, by submitting a post to us, the author provides the IP Law Post with an exclusive license to publish the post.
