BITS Law School, Mumbai campus is accepting applications from November 11, 2024 for admission to its five-year integrated law programmes for the upcoming academic year (2025).
The BA LL B(Hons.) programme has 120 seats and the BBA LL B (Hons.) programme has 60 seats. Both are designed within prescribed specifications and recognized by the Bar Council of India.
Offering four in-demand specialisations - Technology and Media Law, Corporate and Financial Law, Entertainment and Sports Law, and Alternate Dispute Resolution and Mediation - the curriculum has a contemporary advantage and emphasises on trans-disciplinary thinking. Extra-curricular activities are also engaged in by over 10 student run committees, societies, and clubs.
With one of the most diverse representations in law school, students of BITSLAW come from 23 States of India. 75 per cent of all students and 50 per cent of all faculty are women.
The curriculum followed at the BITS law school is an innovative 5-tier learning pyramid, which includes:
‘Readiness at the Workplace’ to master data skills, time management, and professional ethics;
‘Learning Beyond the Curriculum’ for cultural enrichment and exposure to fine arts;
‘Mentor-Mentee Program’ for dedicated mentorship for each student to navigate their residential campus life;
‘Writing Centre’ to learn skills of critical thinking, interpretation, and legal writing; and
Remedial classes for academically adrift students to help overcome challenges in a customised manner.

Eligibility Criteria
Admissions are based on the following parameters:
Academic records (10th and 12th scores)
Law entrance exams scores (CLAT, LNAT, AILET, SLAT, MHCET Law, or BLAT (BITS LAW Admission Test)
Co/ extra-curricular activities
Personal interview round scores
BITS Law School also offers scholarships for merit; merit and means; and diversity. More than 50 per cent of BITSLAW students are on some form of scholarship ranging from 15 per cent to 100 per cent tuition fee waiver.
There are three Birla Endowment Scholarships for Legal Studies, additionally.
The school has partnered with leading public and private banks for education loans at interest rates that are amongst the lowest available in the country.

A dedicated office of Industry Interface and Career Advancement (IICA) offers each BITSLAW student internships, skill-building workshops for professional development, and guest lectures with lawyers, judges, and legal scholars.
