AP High Court’s J. Rohini to be next Delhi Chief; Bombay HC gets first Goan woman judge

As per a recent article in the Indian Express, Justice G Rohini has been selected to be the next Chief Justice of Delhi. Her appointment comes a few weeks after the former Chief Justice, Justice NV Ramana, was sworn in as a judge of the Supreme Court. If appointed to the post, J. Rohini will become the first woman Chief Justice of Delhi and, in all probability, the last judge to be made Chief Justice from the erstwhile state of Andhra Pradesh.
