Anurag Thakur to “cease and desist” from being associated with BCCI, orders Supreme Court [Read order]

The Supreme Court today removed Anurag Thakur from the post of President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The Court also removed Ajay Shirke from the post of Secretary while also directing that all office bearers of BCCI and its affiliated State Associations who fail to meet the norms recommended by the Lodha Committee and accepted by this Court, shall have to demit office.
