I thought it was a great opportunity for me”..Anindita’s area of focus will be corporate law specifically in M&A and foreign investment areas..Speaking to Bar & Bench, Sundari said, “We are very glad to have Anindita on board. She has worked in all the top law firms in the country and has over 16 years of corporate experience. She will be a valuable addition to the firm”..Sundari has over 19 years of experience as a lawyer both in India and the US. She graduated from NLSIU in 1993 and started working at the Andhra Pradesh High Court. In 1996, she went to the US to do her LLM at Columbia Law School. She worked at the New York office of Sidly Austin in the corporate and securities group for several years before moving back to India and setting up Tempus Law in 2008 along with P Raviprasad..P Ravi Prasad has over 25 years of experience in commercial, corporate, joint ventures, M&A, corporate litigation and cross-border issues. Prior to setting up Tempus Law, Raviprasad was a partner in the Hyderabad office of J. Sagar Associates and was instrumental in setting up JSA’s Hyderabad office..Tempus Law has about 20 lawyers with one Senior Associate based in the Pune office..Sundari said, “We plan to expand both Pune and Bangalore offices. We will increase the headcount in Bangaore office to about 6 by end of the financial year. We will concentrate on these three cities for the time being before thinking of setting up offices in other cities..There are lot of synergies between Bangalore and Hyderabad as many of our clients in Hyderabad have operations in Bangalore. So we will be doing lot of work in these two cities with the setting up of our new office in Bangalore”..Sundari added, “We have lot of litigation work based out of Delhi and we have an Of Counsel who handles all our matters in Delhi.
