Supreme Court Collegium recommends appointment of 8 new judges to Patna High Court

Six of the eight names recommended are from the Bar while two are judicial officers.

The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the names of six lawyers and two judicial officers for appointment as judges of Patna High Court.

The decision was taken in a Collegium meeting held on September 23.

The lawyers recommended are:

1. Khatim Reza

2. Sandeep Kumar

3. Dr. Anshuman Pandey

4. Purnendu Singh

5. Satyavrat Verma, and

6. Rajesh Kumar Verma

The judicial officers recommended for elevation are:

1. Nawneet Kumar Pandey

2. Sunil Kumar Panwar
