Collegium recommends elevation of three lawyers to Madhya Pradesh High Court, one each to Punjab & Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir High Courts

The decision was taken at a meeting of the Collegium held on March 2, 2021.

The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended elevation of three lawyers as judges of Madhya Pradesh High Court.

The three lawyers recommended for elevation are Dr. Vivek Sharan, Nidhi Patankar and Pranay Verma.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the Collegium held on March 2, 2021.

The Court also recommended elevation of one lawyer each as judge of Punjab & Haryana (P&H) High Court and Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) High Court.

While Vikas Bahl has been recommended for elevation to P&H High Court, Rahul Bharti has been recommended for J&K High Court judgeship.
