G Narayana Raju, Secretary, Legislative Department of the Union Law Ministry passed away on Wednesday from COVID-19.

Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu tweeted the same, condoling Raju's passing.

"Deeply anguished by the passing away of Shri Narayana Raju, Secretary Legislative Department, Ministry of Law & Justice due to Covid. Shri Raju was a highly competent & hardworking officer. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members. Om Shanthi," Naidu said in his tweet.
