India Disputes Conference 2023 to be hosted in Mumbai by Thought Leaders4 Disputes on December 1-2

London-based Thought Leaders4 Disputes is slated to host the second India Disputes Conference 2023 in Mumbai on December 1-2, 2023.

Former Supreme Court judge, Justice L Nageswara Rao will be attending the event as the chief guest of honour.

Other dignitaries slated to attend include advisory board members such as Tariq Khan (IAMC Hyderabad), Ritin Rai SA (7KBW), Priyank Srivastava (Duane Morris & Selvam LLP), Sushmita Gandhi (IndusLaw), Marc Keidan (Keidan Harrison), and Prashan Patel (Grant Thornton).

The conference aims to bring together legal minds from diverse backgrounds, offering a wide spectrum of sessions encompassing various practice areas and sectors under the broad umbrella of litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).

Attendees can expect to delve into perspectives on issues related to Indian and cross-border transactions, asset recovery, and insolvency, with a particular focus on Singapore, the Middle East, and London. The event spans two days, providing ample opportunities for attendees to come together, learn, network, and expand their legal practice.

The event is being organised with the support of key partners and organisations, including Greyhawk Intelligence, Keidan Harrison, Indus Law, Charles Russell Speechlys, Duane Morris & Selvam LLP, Three Crowns, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Control Risks, and Netrika LLP standing.

This event also enjoys the backing of institutional partners such as the Hyderabad International Arbitration & Mediation Centre (IAMCH), India Arbitration Forum (IAF), Indian Council of Arbitration (ICA), Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration (MIAC), and the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC).

The conference will explore themes such as "Highlighting the Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards" and "Reviewing the Mediation in India Compared to England & Singapore."

These discussions will be led by a panel of distinguished speakers from India, Singapore, Dubai, and the UK. Some of the notable names include Nilanjan Sinha, Head of Legal, India and South Asia at ICICI Bank Ltd (India); Jansen Chow, Partner at Rajah & Tann (Singapore); Rupa Lakha, Partner at Charles Russell Speechlys (London); Manish Aggarwal, Partner at Three Crowns (London); Sarbjit Singh Chopra, Managing Director at Duane Morris & Selvam LLP (Singapore); Sanjay Nambiar, Senior Group President & General Counsel at YES Bank (India); Ed Palmer, Director at Greyhawk (London), and Naief Yahia, Partner at Al Tamimi & Company (Dubai).

Earlier this year, Though Leaders4 disputes had conducted a successful conference at The Taj St James in London in June 2023, where Supreme Court judge, Justice Hima Kohli delivered the keynote address.
