Saraf and Partners in collaboration with JGLS announces the “Fali Nariman Scholarship and Annual Lecture Series”

Saraf and Partners has established this series to honour the legacy of eminent jurist Late Fali Sam Nariman and to promote excellence in legal education and research.

Saraf and Partners, in partnership with OP Jindal Global University, announced the launch of “Fali Nariman Scholarship and Annual Lecture Series”.

The Firm has established this series to honour the legacy of eminent jurist Late Fali Sam Nariman and to promote excellence in legal education and research. This initiative is aimed at supporting and inspiring budding legal professionals.

The event, which took place on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at The Oberoi in New Delhi, was a huge success and was attended by over 400 members of judiciary, dignitaries, bureaucrats, political parties, and industry leaders.

The evening distinguished itself through a Poetry/Shayari Jugalbandi where Tushar Mehta, the Solicitor General of India, the Chief Guest for the event, took lead in conjunction with Kapil Sibal, a notable Indian lawyer & politician. Furthermore, a Jugalbandi session ensued, featuring the eminent poet and lyricist Javed Akhtar alongside the esteemed writer Dr. Rakhshanda Jalil. Also, renowned cultural revivalist Muzaffar Ali was in conversation with Suhel Seth, a prominent columnist.

Virender Sehwag, recognized as an eminent personality within the cricketing domain, also honoured the event with his esteemed presence.

Other noteworthy individuals present were Bibek Debroy (Chairman of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister of India), N.K. Singh, (Chairperson of Fifteenth Financial Commission), Rajnish Kumar (Former Chairperson of State Bank of India), Ambassador Savitri Kunadi, U.K. Sinha (Former Chairman of SEBI) and Industry veterans included Sandip Somany, Ajay Singh, Aditya Ghosh, Naveen Jindal and Harsh Pati Singhania.
