Samvād: Partners elevates three lawyers to Partnership

The promotions have been made across the firm's New Delhi and Bengaluru offices.

Samvād: Partners has announced the elevation of Gauri Khanna (New Delhi), Pratik Patnaik (New Delhi) and Vishnu Kale (Bengaluru) to Partnership at the firm.

Khanna is a 2014 graduate of Institute of Law, Nirma University.

She has extensive experience in mergers & acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions. Her transaction experience includes advising clients across the spectrum, including domestic and cross-border PE/VC funds as well as target companies, in both primary and secondary investments. Khanna’s transaction experience also extends to acquisitions of entities, structured via share purchase, slump sale and asset transfers. She also advises in setting up and restructuring of funds and assists funds in their exits from portfolio companies operating across various sectors.

Patnaik is a 2016 graduate of from Symbiosis Law School, Pune.

He brings significant expertise in both domestic and cross-border acquisitions, as well as private equity and venture capital transactions, across a variety of sectors, including highly regulated areas such as non-banking financial services, e-commerce, insurance, and other financial services. His transactional advisory experience includes representing both investors and target companies on complex transactions. Patnaik’s expertise extends beyond transactional work to encompass a diverse range of general corporate and advisory matters. His experience spans corporate governance, compliance, and commercial contracts. He also has significant experience in employment law, including handling employment disputes.

Kale is a 2013 graduate of Gujarat National Law University. He earned his LLM in Law and Business from Bucerius Law School in 2020.

He works primarily in the areas of venture capital, private equity and mergers and acquisitions. He has also advised several reputed domestic and foreign investors on exits from their India investments. In addition, Kale has advised several startups and companies on structuring of their businesses and assisted them with day-to-day operational affairs and legal requirements. He also has significant experience in areas such as fintech, e-commerce and information technology.
