JSA snaps up two more partners from IndusLaw

IndusLaw Partners M Arun Kumar and Deepak Chowdhury have joined J Sagar Associates (JSA) as Equity Partners at the firm's Gurugram and Hyderabad offices, respectively.

Both lawyers join the firm's projects, infrastructure and real estate practice with their respective teams of lawyers.

With over 18 years of experience, Kumar's practice spans acquisitions, divestments, and joint ventures. He advises clients in sectors such as airports, ports, highways, urban infrastructure, renewable energy and real estate development. In renewable energy, he supports independent power producers with wind, solar and biomass projects.

Chowdhury has over 18 years of experience advising on contractual and regulatory issues for infrastructure projects. He has extensive expertise in public-private partnerships across various sectors, including ports, airports, mass transit, highways and waste management. Chowdhury also provides guidance on contract management, risk assessment, regulatory matters, and transaction structuring. His work includes advising on power plant construction and operation, as well as land acquisition for infrastructure projects in India.

JSA Joint Managing Partners Amit Kapur and Vivek Chandy said in a press release,
