Former Phoenix Legal Partner Ritika Ganju announces launch of new firm - Rise Legal

The Firm currently has 4 partners and a team of associates on board who have been advising and representing clientele across diverse sectors and areas of practice.

Former M&A Partner at Phoenix Legal Ritika Ganju has set up Rise Legal in New Delhi along with 3 other founding partners - Tejas Patel, Aquib Ali and Meera Kaura.

Rise Legal is a full-service law firm with a principal office in New Delhi with a network of associate offices and of-counsels across the major cities of India.

While Ganju and Patel will take the lead on corporate, commercial and M&A practice of the firm, Ali and Kaura will be heading the dispute resolution practice.

Ritika Ganju specializes in corporate commercial and M&A practice and has advised multinational (including Fortune 500) clients across various business sectors. She is dual qualified to practice in India and New York and has been well recognized for her practice. Prior to Phoenix Legal, she was with JSA.

Tejas Patel’s expertise is in corporate commercial, M&A and IBC practice. Tejas is also dual qualified to practice in India and England & Wales. He brings along experience in legal practice of over 15 years wherein he worked with corporate and transaction teams at top national and international firms namely, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, BMR Legal and Clifford Chance (UAE).

Aquib Ali is a seasoned practitioner with first-hand experience of over 11 years in civil, commercial and corporate litigation, arbitration and mediation. He has represented various multinational and large Indian corporates on wide array of dispute matters across various industries.

Meera Kaura is a well-recognised practitioner with expertise is in criminal law, specifically white-collar crimes, fraud and anti-bribery related investigation and matters.  She has played crucial role in advising prosecution and investigation agencies on several matters. Kaura was in independent practice for last few years after working with the litigation firm, Agha & Co., Dubai.
